Actress Lakshmi Menon is currently into Naan Sigappu Manithan with Vishal and Jigarthanda with Siddharth. The actress who was a prominent feature in Headlines after a Lip Lock with Vishal has been advised by a senior actress. 
A senior actress who acts along with Lakshmi Menon in Jigarthanda has apparently advised the actress to not fall in love. The actress has told Lakshmi that her career is at her peak right now and it's best for her to just concentrate on her films and earn as much as she can.

Fans our Kollywood Industry was totally shocked by the sudden demise of the Balu Mahendra, The Legend started his career in the tinsel world as a cinematographer and later went onto direct some of the most memorable movies including the award winning Moondram Pirai and Veedu.

A.R.Murugadoss Upset over Vijay 57

Ace Director A.R.Murugadoss is apparently upset over the storyline of Vijay 57 which has leaked out. The director who wanted to keep the entire film a top secret did not even want to publicize the commencement of the project in Kolkata earlier this month.

However the story of the movie was leaked by the bengali actor Tota Roy who plays the villain role in the movie. Sources add A.R.Murugadoss has expressed his displeasure and has made immediate changes to the story to keep up the suspense factor.

Ulaganayagan's Uthama Villain is all set to begin from the 24th of February. Directed by Kamal Haasan's long time buddy Ramesh Aravind the movie will reportedly have three heroines in it.

Times of India had this to report on the movie "Kamal and Ramesh will hold the pooja launch of the film in Chennai on February 24. They will start shooting some sequences in the city before they go in for a schedule break. The film will have three heroines, and the team has approached some of the top actresses for the roles. Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah and Trisha (with whom Kamal earlier acted in Manmadan Ambu) are some of the names that are being bandied about. It's expected that Ramesh will zero in on his heroines by the end of this month."

Vijay 57 directed by A.R.Murugadoss is currently progressing at a very rapid pace.  The movie which witnesses the reunion of Thupakki combo has Samantha in the lead role with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music.

The movie which is co produced by Lyca productions and Ayngaran International has officially been announced as the most expensive movie in Vijay's career. Sources add the movie's budget is over 100 crores.

A leading tamil magazine also reported the salary of Ilayathalapathy Vijay and A.R.Murugadoss for this project, According to the magazine Vijay's salary is 22 crores while A.R.Murugadoss has received a salary of 18 crores.

Nazriya Nazim reveals her Valentine's day plans

Headline Heroine Nazriya Nazim in a recent interview to the Times of India has revealed her Valentine's Day plans. The actress who recently got engaged to Fahad Fazil said  "I will soon head to Bangalore for the shoot of Anjali Menon's Bangalore Days, which will be completed in a few days,We won't be together as both of us are busy with film shoots. Fahadh has completed his portions in Anjali's film and is currently shooting for another project." 

Nazriya who is getting married in August said "I have not yet decided on what to wear on my D-Day. I am looking for something unique; I want to look different."

Nazriya also revealed Fahadh was her favourite star in the industry. "He is my favourite star and I have seen all his films, except Olipporu." Nazriya says she has no plans to discontinue her studies and will pursue B.Com privately.

Vijay Sethupathi teams up with International Director

The rising star of Kollywood, the man with a magic touch Vijay Sethupathi is all set to join an international director. Yes the internationally acclaimed director Biju Viswanath will helm Vijay Sethupathi's Aarange Mittai which is produced under the actor's home banner Vijay Sethupathy Production. Interestingly Vijay Sethupathi will also pen dialogues for maiden production venture.

Biju Vishwanath movies have been screened throughout the world. Viswanath won two awards for Best Cinematography and Best Screenplay in New York Independent Film Festival for his feature film Marathon said “I met Vijay just before Pizza. I was impressed by his passion for films and his script knowledge. We planned  a movie together, but that didn’t happen due to my commitments abroad. In the meantime, he became a big name but to my amazement, retained the same simplicity. One day I asked his opinion on the script of Aarange Mittai. He liked it a lot and offered to produce it ” 

Speaking about the dialogues Biju says, “I got it translated from the original English into Tamil.  But when Vijay was reading aloud and improvising,  his  version of the dialogues was so convincing and realistic, that I decided to retain the dialogues that he gave.”
